The short version
This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. It remembers one choice of yours, whether the soft music is on, and uses the cookies WordPress needs for the people who manage the site. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
The cookies we use
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| amdgMusic (stored in your browser) | Remembers whether you turned the soft music on. | Until you clear your browser data |
| wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-* | Only for site administrators who log in. Visitors do not receive them. | Session to 1 year |
Other things that work like cookies
The fonts on this website are served from our own server, so no third party receives your IP address when the page loads. Our hosting provider may set technical cookies to protect the site against attacks. None of these is used to track you.
When you click a link to Amazon, you leave this website, and Amazon sets its own cookies under its own policy.
How to control cookies
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. The website still works without them; it will just not remember your music choice.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page. Questions: hello@zenbookspress.com.
